Baked Pears with Ground Cinnamon, Honey and Walnuts
There's nothing more comforting than a warm baked pear with vanilla ice cream dessert after a winter brunch. It's one of our favorite desserts because it's so simple and easy to make.
1. Preheat oven to 350F.
2. Rinse pears and cut down the middle. Using a melon scooper or a spoon, scoop the seeds from the center of the pear. Place in a shallow baking dish preferably with parchment paper.
3. Sprinkle ground cinnamon on each pear generously. Covering each pear. Place the walnuts in the center of the pears and over it as well. Drizzle honey all over each pear. Honey is a natural sweetener so don't be afraid to give the pears a little honey bath. Bake in the oven for 30 minutes.
