DIY Blazer

Most of us are consumed during the workweek, with well, working. Thank goodness, your weekends are designed for you to relax and if you are like us over at B + S, it's the perfect opportunity to relax over great food and sewing projects.

This weekend's sewing project or maybe next weekend if you already have plans is a DIY Blazer. We used McCall's 6611 which is out of print but you can find it on Etsy and Ebay and often times still in pattern drawers in Joann's or Hancock Fabric.

We hoped on the printed bandwagon and used a batik African print purchased from Hancock Fabric and a broadcloth red cotton for the lining. The pattern was very easy to follow along and the fit was perfect.

We wish you well sewing and brunching this weekend. If you happen to make the blazer, we'd love to see pictures. Feel absolutely free to use #brunchandsew on social media or @ us on Instagram
