Sequin Pullover McCall's MP458

Fall is officially upon us! This means PULLOVERS! Your pullovers don't have to be big oversized sweaty hoodies. Go glam this fall in one of my favorite fall pieces--- THE SEQUIN PULLOVER.  I'm excited to share one of our recent makes --- McCalls' MP 458 using a matte sequin knit.

This pattern is so perfect for Fall with it's easy styling options. I’m obsessed with the loose and casual fit. It has a neck and sleeve band with different hemline variations which I loved. Of course we are seeing sequin everywhere and matte sequin is definitely the favorite fabrication this season. I had a a great time putting it all together!

Now let's talk fabric...  I chose a matte sequin knit and used remnants from ponte knit for a previous project for the neck and sleeve bands. The pattern calls for a challis, crepe, or charmeuse but I didn't really want that look. If you use a knit, you may have to grade down just a tad in alterations. Try it on for fit first.

I have made several other tops using different fabrics from this pattern so I think it's obvious I love it.
