Brunch and Sew Maxi Skirts

This past weekend we hosted our December Brunch and Sew in Memphis at the lovely K'Presha Boutique and had a ball. Here's a recap of the amazing time we had doing sharing our gift and love of sewing.

So much has changed with our Brunch and Sew staff over the past year thanks to growth and progression. Our event designer Kamesha Hervey Richard of Ava Loren Design has redesigned all of the paper goods for Brunch and Sew. Using the illustrations by our creative director Andrea Fenise as inspiration for exclusive Brunch and Sew paper dolls, we now have collectable B+S dolls we launched at this event.

Our project for this month was an easy maxi skirt to add to our wardrobe,  which can be worn from season to season. We taught everyone how to use their measurements to make their own pattern and alter their skirts if needed and much more.

We were so pleased with how the skirts came out but more excited that everyone finished. More importantly, it was our pleasure to host such a great group of women and give them sewing skills to build upon.

Help me give Tasha Love  owner of Aprons by TLL and now sewing instructor for Brunch and Sew a warm welcome and a special thank you for hosting Brunch and Sew December.
